Jo Guest links - Selection criteria

There are several hundred sites on the Internet that claim to have pictures of Jo. I have tried to list the free sites that are worth seeing.

What sites get a listing?

What counts as a "Major Joogling site"?

Javascript sites

Banner adverts

What sites DON'T get a listing?

N.B. I reserve the right to reject sites for reasons other than those listed above. However I can assure you that a listing will not be unreasonably withheld.

Notes for surfers

Unexpected index/advert pages

When you key in a URL (or click on a link) and the page doesn't exist, you are supposed to get a "404 - Page not found" error message. An increasing number of sites DON'T display that error message, but redirect you to an index page, or a page stuffed with adverts.

This is particularly common with the "adult" web hosting services: these usually have site names like porncity.net or the site name ends in ".nu" (e.g. jg08.lov.nu). Please remember that other sites may do it as well.

If I find any image thumbnails broken in this fashion, I will put a note against that entry in the website list. With other links on a site (e.g. "More pics", "Page 2" and so on) you're on your own. Be ready to hit the BACK button on your browser.

Javascript (etc.) nasties

Some sites use tricks such as consoles, blind links and other subterfuges to lead you to paysites (for which they get a commission). Many of these tricks are carried out by use of malicious Javascript, but it is also possible to achieve the same result with Java or other sorts of plug-ins. I cannot hope to pick up on all such cases (partly because I don't run Javascript) so I would advise you to:

Why no paysites or "age verification" sites?

Put simply, I am only prepared to list free sites on these pages.

Age verification schemes (AVS for short) usually work by getting the punter to use his credit card to send some money - typically $10 or $20 - to the company operating the AVS. Having spent his money, he now has access to all the sites using that particular AVS (incidentally, I fail to understand how having access to a credit card "proves" you're an adult, but that isn't really the point at issue here). In other words, the essential difference between a paysite and an AVS is that with a paysite you're sending money to the owner of the site, whereas with an AVS you're sending money to someone who isn't the owner of the site.

AVS supporters will, of course, point out that signing up with an AVS will allow you access to a large list of sites. This is true. The problem is, there are dozens of these schemes running: a cursory Net search produced over 30 schemes. If you really want access to every site protected by every AVS, you're going to be spending hundreds of dollars to achieve it. Call me picky, but I don't consider that to be "free", or even particularly cheap...

Yes, I do know that some web hosting services insist that "adult" content be secured behind an AVS. If your website is in such a position, you can still get it listed on one of the other links sites instead.
